Thermal solutions for LEDs and Power components

The need for thermally conductive circuits has never been greater. Surface mounted high power semiconductor MosFETs and IGBTs are now being used increasingly for for motor controllers and activators. Also high brightness LEDs, and combined power and control electronics have increased the power densities above the limit of traditional glass fibre based PCBs.

PRECEL in Merzhausen, Baden-Würtemburg has been active since 1995 in the development of solutions for circuit board technologies, especially regarding insulated metal substrates (Thermal Clad or IMS) and thick copper products.
